4.4 BOARD RETENTION AND DISPOSAL OF DOCUMENTS

POLICY

To ensure the safekeeping and disposal of information disseminated to the Board.

PROCEDURE

Board members routinely receive and must maintain documents received from the Agency in the course of their duties on the Board.  Any documents identified as confidential will be maintained in a secure place until they are no longer required at which point they will be returned to the Executive Director for disposal by shredding.
