Jointly funded with the Job Connect program, a fully equipped resource centre provides self directed job seekers with the resources and equipment necessary to conduct an effective search.
The centre offers the use of computers, internet, photocopier, fax machine and telephone. A resource library includes community, educational and training information as well as reference materials.
Workshops are offered to address specific information required by participants to enhance their career exploration or assist with job search techniques. WHMIS awareness training. Smart Service Certification ($25.00 fee may apply).
One to One Interventions: Interventions include individual assistance for any client struggling with any aspect of their job search which can include referral to other employment programs or community resources such as skills development.
Follow-up support assists individuals to complete their transition to employment.
Hours of Operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesdays 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. |
