4-10 OVERVIEW
POLICY
The financial policies and related administrative procedures provide the framework for:
- The preparation of accurate and timely accounting records leading to the preparation of financial statements and related reporting.
- The safeguarding of the Agency’s assets.
PROCEDURE
The procedures were established by clearly identifying the level of staff with sufficient authority to approve the specific transactions. In addition, documentation requirements were established with clear indications of the information required to support various transactions and the evidence required to support the approval of such documentation.
