Appendix 30  JAMES ROXBURGH AWARD FOR EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR TERMS OF REFERENCE
Approved July 2000

1)       MANDATE

To annually review nominations and report to the Agency at the Annual Meeting the nominees and the winners of the part time Employee of the Year award and the full time Employee of the Year Award.

2)       GOAL

To select a part time and full time staff who exemplifies the values of the Agency and who performs their duties above and beyond their basic job description

3)      COMPOSITION

The Resources Committee will serve as the selection committee.

4)      QUORUM

A quorum will consist of not less than two.

5)      DECISION MAKING

         All decisions will be determined through consensus.

6)      SCHEDULE

Selection will take place at the May or June meeting.

7)      DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To thoroughly review all nominations.
  2. To choose one part time and one full time staff for the awards.
  3. To present the award at the Annual Meeting.

8)      AUTHORITY

The Resources Committee is a standing committee chosen annually by the Board of Directors.
