Appendix 33 MARKETING TEAM - TERMS OF REFERENCE

MANDATE
To develop communication initiatives that will promote awareness of the Agency resulting in increased donations from the community.
- COMPOSITION
The team will be comprised of the IT & Communications Coordinator, Executive Director and a minimum of one staff from each of the following sectors:
- Youth & Family Services,
- Addiction & Mental Health Services,
- Justice Services,
- Employment Services,
- Administration.
- The team will choose from among the members, the Chairperson and Secretary at the September meeting.
- TERM
The length of term will be no longer than three years with a minimum of two staff turning over annually.
- QUORUM
A quorum will consist of 4 members of the team.
- DECISION MAKING
All decisions will be determined through consensus.
- SCHEDULE
Meeting dates, times and duration will be determined by the team.
- AUTHORITY
The Marketing Team is a standing committee reporting to the Management Team
- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Special events,
- Agency website,
- Youth Homelessness Week,
- Maintain Graphic Standards Manual,
- Review marketing materials and maintain at all locations,
- On line newsletter,
- Collaborative marketing activities for the Agency,
- Promotion of sale of gift cards,
- The Chair of the team is to notify the Human Resources Administrator of any changes to the membership.
