6-180 FEES FOR PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS OR MEMBERSHIPS

POLICY
It is the policy of the Agency to provide the cost of annual fees for professional registrations or memberships when these are a requirement of the position. When a professional registration or membership is not a requirement of the position, the cost of fees may be provided by the Agency upon approval of the respective Service Director.
PROCEDURE
Staff requesting the cost of fees for professional registrations or memberships and receiving Agency approval will:
- have the cost of fees remitted directly to the professional organization,
OR
- have the cost of fees reimbursed after submission of paid receipts.
Examples of eligible registrations or memberships include:
Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants;
Ontario Association of Social Workers;
Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario.
