6-360   JOB RATES

POLICY

Permanent staff are assigned a job rate based on his/her number of years of service in the band.

PROCEDURE

Full and part time staff become eligible for job rate level advancement on their "band anniversary dates", or 12 months worked.   

Job rate level advances are conditional upon successful performance evaluations by Supervisors and approval by Service Directors.  Job rate level advances are subject to Board imposed budgetary restrictions.

Job rates include salary and wages only.  Job rates do not include pension, benefits or car allowances.

Service Directors will approve job rate level advances for their staff.

The Executive Director will approve job rate level advances for Service Directors.

The Board President will approve job rate levels for the Executive Director.
 
Staff who are approved for job rate level advancement will receive documentation outlining his/her current job rate band and anniversary date and his/her approved job rate level and salary.

Job rate level advances take effect on the first full pay period following the staff's band anniversary date.
