6-670 SUSPENSIONS POLICY A staff may be suspended from duty with pay by the appropriate Service Director, pending completion of an investigation into the staff's misconduct or for disciplinary purposes. PROCEDURE Serious staff misconduct will be reported to the Executive Director by the appropriate Service Director. The Executive Director may suspend a staff without pay and conduct a thorough investigation into the staff's misconduct. In such a case, the staff will be given written confirmation of the length of the suspension and any other conditions, which may be imposed in conjunction with such suspension. Any situation requiring suspension will be reviewed with the Resources Committee at their regularly scheduled meeting.
