The four Learning Centres offer an integrated treatment and educational classroom in partnership with the Grand Erie District School Board (GEDSB).
Each Learning Centre has a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 students.
The curriculum (elementary or high school) and environment are provided in a manner appropriate to the age and developmental level of the individual student.
Learning Centres provide the following:
- Individualized educational treatment plans are developed and regularly reviewed with the student to address difficulties, assess and remediate academic concerns.
- A range of academic, educational and/or work activities are offered, appropriate to the learning style and achievement level of the students in the program.
- Classroom Assistants also provide support for students who are integrating back into community classroom settings.
The Learning Centres operate throughout the school year and during regular school hours.
Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
