Program Description

The Needle Exchange program is offered in partnership with St. Leonard’s Community Services, Aboriginal Health Centre and the Brant County Health Unit.  The program provides intravenous drug users with clean needles and a safe place to dispose of used needles.

Clients are only required to provide a first name, month and year of birth.

Clients are provided with clean needles, filters, alcohol swabs, sterile water, tourniquets, Vitamin C powder, and sterile disposable spoons.

Participants are also offered information on available screening and immunization programs as well as individual counselling.

Hours of Operation:  Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
