POLICY 3-60 FIRE AND EMERGENCY EVACUATION PROCEDURE

POLICY

The Agency posts fire and emergency evacuation procedures in conspicuous places adhering to relevant fire codes.  The procedures are reviewed annually.

PROCEDURE

Fire and Emergency procedures are posted at all facilities.  The Service Directors review these procedures annually and ensure the following are completed:

• Fire safety inspections (at a minimum monthly),

• Monthly fire drills,

• Monthly Health and Safety reports,

• Annual Health Inspections (residentially)

• Daily Fire and Equipment Check (residentially)

Records of these inspections and fire drills are retained on site in the Health and Safety binder located in each department.
