POLICY 3-100 INSURANCE
Approved January 2009

The Agency provides insurance, which provides staff, Board, clients and others with coverage for general liability, personal injury and protects property against damage as stipulated in the insurance policy.

The Agency carries business interruption, fire, theft, liability and Agency vehicle auto insurance.

PROCEDURE

The Director of Finance will negotiate an Annual Insurance Policy protecting Agency staff, assets, Board of Directors and operations. 

The Director of Finance will ensure insurance coverage meets or exceeds the level stated in the ministry contracts for service.  The Director of Finance reports to the Board of Directors insurance coverage changes plus annually a summary of insurance coverage to the Board (See Finance 4-180).
