4.1 STAFF ACCESS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS POLICY To clarify lines of communication from staff to the Board of Directors. PROCEDURE The Board of Directors will address other matters that come before them and do not fall within the above guidelines in a manner that is consistent with those guidelines and their intent. The Board of Directors of the Agency operates in an open and approachable manner. The normal line of communication to the Board will be through the Executive Director. Relevant information and/or issues for the Board to address will be given to the Executive Director. Staff presentations to the Board will be held periodically at the invitation of the Board in order to provide opportunities for the staff to inform the Board about services they provide. In exceptional circumstances, the President of the Board will be contacted directly.
