Program Description

Wholistic Healing is a way to look at the four components of a human being’s needs; mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. The overall goal of the program is to teach group members how they can keep these four aspects of their lives in balance in a positive way.

Upon completion, participants will have an increased awareness of all life experiences that have contributed to substance use or anger problems and healthy ways to express anger.

Native and western theories will be combined to teach self- empowerment and self-care.

This is a ten-week group that will be held Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Program start dates will be posted on the St. Leonard’s Community Services’ website.

Program participation is limited to individuals who have attended a minimum of 4 individual counselling sessions or a structured treatment program or group.

Participants will be screened by the facilitators prior to being admitted to group.
