2.3 EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES TO CLIENTS AND COMMUNITY
The Executive Director will ensure that all clients and other community stakeholders are treated in ways that follow and promote the Agency’s Mission and Values. Therefore, she/he will:
- let clients and other stakeholders know how to participate in the Agency regarding policy development, evaluation and planning processes and will strive to remove barriers to participation;
- create open and accessible ways for clients and other community stakeholders to raise concerns about staff roles, the Agency’s services and Board approved policies through a complaints process that includes the ability to appeal to the Board;
- ensures that the Agency has a service complaint-handling procedure in place and establishes a resolution process to deal with complaints and conflict situations.
- provide clients and other community stakeholders with Board approved policies upon request.
