Concurrent Disorders Counselling

Services consist of a biopsychosocial assessment using a variety of assessment tools.  Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing are utilized to help the individual meet their stated goals.  Art therapy can be integrated within the service delivery.

Development of a strength-based service plan in collaboration with the client, to address substance use and mental health needs, including, but not limited to, referral to appropriate services such as residential treatment, psychiatric services, individual and/or group counselling.

Addictions and Mental Health Hours of Operation:  Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Evening appointments available.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: 16+
Legal Status: Voluntary or Probation, Police or CAS referral
Other: Experiencing substance use problems and mental health problems
