Residential Treatment

Recovery written on the road

The length of our Residential Treatment program has been changed as a result of the pandemic.  We are currently offering a 3-week live-in program for all genders, aged 16 and up.

Residential treatment is a 5-week live-in program for all genders, aged 16 and up.  Participants access both group and individual support.  Counselling, education and skills development are included to help individuals meet their substance use goals.  Concurrent Disorders Clinicians support participants by using approaches like Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Topics addressed in group include:

  • Managing cravings and urges
  • Effective communication
  • Disrupting habits
  • Managing anxiety
  • Social supports
  • Rewarding successes

Participants accessing the program should have an identified recovery goal (harm reduction or abstinence) and be prepared to abstain from substance use while attending treatment.
