Triple C

The Triple C group provides information about substance use and its impact to assist teens and young adults to make healthier choices.


  • To increase awareness of problematic substance use.
  • To increase skills and knowledge in the areas of the stages of change, thought processes, stress management, peer pressure, roles and responsibilities, community resources, goal setting and coping strategies.

Stage of Change: Any stage of change

Structure: 5-week psycho-educational group
Week 1 – Substance Use and Cravings
Week 2 – Drug Classifications and Effects on the Body
Week 3 – Challenging You to Make the Choice to Change
Week 4 – Community Supports and Peer Pressure
Week 5 – Jeopardy game

Referral Process: Requires an internal referral from a Counsellor.

When: Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., beginning May 8, 2019
