Youth Individual Addictions Counselling

Services consist of a biopsychosocial assessment using a variety of assessment tools, development of a strength-based service plan, including but not limited to individual and/or group counselling, aftercare support and referral to appropriate services such as residential treatment, individual and/or group counselling and aftercare supports.

Service plans are developed in cooperation with the individual.  Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing are utilized to help the client meet their stated goals.  Art therapy can be integrated within the service delivery.

Outreach services offered onsite at all area high schools weekly.

Intake appointments are available daily.

Addiction and Mental Health Hours of Operation:  Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening appointments available.

Eligibility Criteria

Age: 12-18
Legal Status: Voluntary or Probation, Police, School referral
