COVID-19

Please be advised that we continue to utilize necessary alterations to our programming to address the risk associated with COVID-19.  Alterations have been in effect since Tuesday, March 17th and the following, revised protocols will continue until further notice:

Currently, we are offering pre-scheduled in person appointments for some of our non-residential services, including Addictions and Mental Health and Employment.  Please call for more information.  We continue to provide virtual or phone-based interactions.  We currently have enough capacity to meet the demands for our services.  The Agency has implemented a number of safety measures for clients, community members and staff such as screening, sanitizing physical spaces, plexiglass barriers, mandatory wearing of face masks and providing for physical distancing around the Agency.  We will continue to communicate as we increase our face-to-face interactions with clients.

Residential services continue to operate and efforts have been made to mitigate the risk of exposure for staff and clients such as enhanced client screening, increased efforts to sanitize physical space, limiting group interactions and increasing diversion efforts upon intake.

Needle Exchange continues to be offered at 133 Elgin Street only using the window accessible from the west parking lot.

As always, our 24/7 crisis line is available: (519) 759-7188 or 1-866-811-7188, and we have increased the capacity of this service during this timeframe to ensure we meet the demands of the community.  Clients are encouraged to utilize this service if they are experiencing a mental health crisis during this difficult time.

As the Province continues its phased re-opening approach, we continue to work alongside our funders and community partners to develop plans to increase the availability of face-to-face supports, so please check back routinely for updates or follow our social media channels.
