  • Shifts will be one day during the week and Saturdays and Sundays
Job Duties: 

Duties that are included for the STORAGE part are:

  • Opening and closing of the facility
  • Housekeeping of the facility; inside and out
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Answering phone calls and emails or web inquiries in a professional, courteous manner and answering any questions that our customers / potential customers may have
  • Participating in Accounts Receivables
  • Showing customers our Self-Storage units
  • Selling merchandise (upselling as well)
  • Receiving and processing payments
  • Performing a facility check periodically throughout your shift and recording information in our Site Log book
  • Stocking merchandise, and ensuring it’s fully stocked at all times
  • Maintaining a clean and safe facility; inside and out
  • Ensuring all rentable storage units are clean and maintained in preparation for clients to view
  •  Other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager
  • Assisting the Facility Manager with daily, weekly and monthly operations

Duties that’s are included for the U-HAUL part are:

  • Dispatching U-Haul rentals of a cargo van, trucks or trailers
  • Entering the customers’ information (including their drivers’ license) in to the system for rental
  • Preparing and investigating the returns of the U-Haul rentals (noting any new damages, if the rental is brought back dirty, the fuel is not at the dispatch level, etc.)
  • Ensuring ALL information is correct with the customer at the time of rental AND return (this includes a walk around of the rental, verifying the fuel, mileage and damages, if any)

 

Job Qualifications: 
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and spoken
  • Work great independently, as well as a team member
  • Prioritize duties according to level of priority
  • Be willing to adapt to changes quickly
