Duties
- Attending job sites for the purpose of land surveying commercial, residential, and agricultural properties
- Job sites can be located in Brantford, Brant County, Norfolk County and Haldimand County
- Operate survey equipment such as GPS (to be trained on)
- Working outdoors in all weather/seasons
- Working in a 2 person crew alongside Party Chief
Qualifications
- Survey Technology or Engineering Technology Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Experience in boundary surveys, topographic surveys, control surveys, monitoring surveys and construction layout services are preferred but will provide training
- Excellent communication skills, math skills, leadership abilities, and strong attention to detail
- Experience and proficiency with the Total Station, AutoCAD and other equipment preferred but will train
- Driver's License is an asset but not necessary
