IMP Installer - Frost Inc- @ the Job Fair Oct 11th!

Duties
Frost Building Systems is an industry leader in the supply and installation of Insulated Metal Panelling (IMP). We also supply and install ACM, aluminum plate, siding, underfloor insulation, roof deck, and cold storage doors. With a dynamic, multicultural, diverse and talented workforce, we have set high standards and milestones for quality, productivity, innovation and service.
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Insulated Metal Panels/Cladding Installer for our office in Brantford, Ontario.
The successful candidate will perform the following job duties:
- Installation of cladding and insulated panels systems
- Operation of aerial work platforms and material lifting equipment
- Set up rigging and use rigging and hoisting equipment such as Clad Boy or Pulley
- Reading and following drawings and installation instructions
- Installation, diagnosis, repair and replacement of insulated metal doors, panels, and enclosures
- Measure, cut and install various types of siding system
- Measure and cut various types of Composite Aluminum Panel System
- Operate various types and sizes of Aerial Work Platforms and Boom Lifts
Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of experience working within cold storage facilities
- At least three (3) years of experience working as an IMP/cladding installer INCLUDING IMP ROOFING SYSTEM
- At least three (3) years of construction experience
- Experience working on commercial and industrial work sites
- Confident in using all types of manual and powered hand tools
- Able to work at heights - including ladders, scaffold, and aerial lifts
- Mechanically Inclined
- Able to take and understand directions and communicate with the rest of the team
- Able to learn new tasks quickly - problem solving & critical thinking an asset
- Experience driving with trailers an asset
- Good understanding of building materials
- Must have driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Eligibility
Experience:
Cladding Installation: 3 years (preferred)
COVID-19 considerations: Mask wearing in the office and on job sites. Hand sanitizer stations throughout the office. Must be eligible to work in Canada.
