Duties

As innovators in precision metal parts our specialized line of work allows us to produce parts and assemblies for Industrial OEMs in the construction and agricultural sectors.
Production Welders are responsible for producing parts from various gauges of metal.
Duties
Selects appropriate tools and methods to complete jobs correctly
Set up machine/equipment to produce product to internal standards
Check finished product to ensure it meets the requirements
May construct components and parts to close tolerances that may have non-standard or unusual shapes
Safety
Welders must safely work in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures and OHSA. All defective equipment or hazards are to be reported immediately to supervisors/managers. Operators will use the following safety equipment as required.
Safety glasses
Steel toe boots
Gloves
Hearing protection
Overhead crane
Face coverings
Face shields
Qualifications
Skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting prints and drawings
Physically fit to stand for duration of shift and lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
Able to follow direction and respond to feedback for skill development
Mechanical aptitude
Attention to detail
Good communication, both written and verbally
Filling out inspection documents and paper work
Basic computer use
