Hours of Work
Full time, year round hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday
Potential for extra hours, if desired
Duties
- Work as a member of a team, or individually to complete projects
- Working at heights with ladders
- Skillfully operate hand & power tools
- Evaluate project and plan ahead to ensure correct materials/tools are obtained
- Operate a brake to make window caps, molds, and facia
- Provide guidance to assistant installer
- Independently solve issues on a job site. Collaborate with team members to ensure safety and find the best solution(s)
- Site clean up for safety and client satisfaction
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of window installation experience is required
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Good foundational math skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- G class licence with reliable transportation to drive to the shop/job sites
- Great attendance and punctuality
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Fluent in English
Eligibility
Work is centered around new builds, renovations, and retrofit installations. Wage will depend on experience.
