Operating in partnership with the Grand Erie District School Board (GEDSB), the two Learning Centre Classrooms offer a therapeutic, educational environment.
Each Learning Centre has a maximum of 8 students.
The curriculum (high school) and the physical environment are consistent with the age and developmental level of the individual student.
Learning Centres provide:
- Individualized educational service plans which are regularly reviewed with the student to address and remediate social and/or academic concerns.
- A range of academic, educational and/or work activities linked to the learning style and achievement level of the students.
- Classroom Counsellors who support students are on site daily to prepare for integration back into community classroom settings.
The Learning Centres operate during regular school hours throughout the school year.
Hours of Operation are: Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
