Substance Use Program (HUB)
The Substance Use Program supports youth to understand the impact of substance use including the risks of driving under the influence of cannabis and the development of cravings as a central unifying harm to young people.
Using a interactive, psycho-educational approach, the goal is to encourage youth to consider changing their levels of substance use, possible benefits of changing use levels and methods to help them reach their goals.
The modules include:
- Driving Under the Influence of Cannabis
- Taking Substances
- Getting High
- Addiction Fundamentals
- Illicit Substances
- Drinking and Driving
Selection of module(s) and sub-modules to be used is determined through an interview, an assessment of risk/need and review of supporting documentation, in collaboration with the client’s identified goals.
