Emergency Shelter Intake Services

The Emergency Shelter Intake Services will support individuals and/or families in seeking emergency housing options within the City of Brantford. With staff available 24/7 and 365 days a year, individuals and/or families of all ages will receive the following services:

Shelter Diversion
Support with accessing emergency housing options
Transportation arrangements

Eligibility Criteria

Age: all ages

Individuals and/or families who are unhoused and require emergency housing options due to no suitable housing arrangements

Additional Housing Programs

Cornerstone House

Cornerstone House offers a shelter and a Transitional Housing Program for men and women who are between 18 and 29 years of age.

The Housing Resource Centre supports individuals and their families who are at risk or who are experiencing homelessness in seeking permanent housing options within the City of Brantford and Brant area.
