Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm (some weekends and evenings)

Duties

The Employment Service’s program supports job seekers and employers in accessing Employment Ontario funded programs. The Supervisor will report to the Manager of Employment Services, providing supervision to staff in a performance-based model.

As the Supervisor for the Employment Service program, you will:

  • Supervise staff
  • Drive performance and ensure programs are meeting targets
  • Oversee departmental activities
  • Monitor expenditures
  • Implement marketing strategies
  • Provide group and individual counselling
  • Audit and provide quality review of processes and client files

Contract duration: April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024

Training: Initial comprehensive training related to all aspects of the role, as well as access to ongoing professional development

A note about COVID-19:  Our Agency is committed to the safety of staff. Qualifications

  • Have a college diploma in the Human/Social Services or Business field, with a Career Practitioner/Job Developer certificate an asset
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field
  • Leadership experience considered an asset
  • Be proficient in MS Office and be familiar with databases
  • Have access to reliable transportation
  • Be able to manage occasional exposure to vicarious trauma
  • Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (minimum 3 doses)
