Withdrawal management provides support for withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs for individuals who are under the influence of substances, in withdrawal, or otherwise in crisis directly related to substances. We provide a safe, supportive environment for individuals withdrawing from substances who do not require long-term hospital support but are unable to cope with withdrawing in the community. Services are provided by withdrawal management workers and counsellors who are not medically trained. A partnership with the Brant Haldimand Norfolk RAAM Clinic gives clients access to medical supports.
Participants also access early recovery education, assessment, peer support, connection to ongoing service and transition/discharge planning.
